As you can tell we are kinda obsessed with using turmeric haha! Golden milk has become very popular lately and we LOVE it! There are a lot of different recipes for this but this is what we do and Alyssa drinks it almost every morning! It is so easy and quick!! Plus it gives you all the benefits of turmeric that we mentioned in our Benefits of Spices post. Hope you enjoy and remember to eat pure and simple.
Golden Milk Latte (print here )
1 cup almond or coconut milk
½ cup water
1 tbsp. coconut oil
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. turmeric
1 scoop Vital Proteins collagen peptides (optional)
- Place all ingredients in a single serve blender
- Blend until it get foamy
- Pour into microwave safe mug and microwave for 1-2 minutes. (Make sure it doesn’t boil over). You can also heat on the stove if you prefer.
*You can heat your milk up first and then add to blender and blend, this will make it more foamy
*Can also add full-fat coconut milk
