Morning Ginger Drink

Everyones getting sick! 😦 Ginger is such a good root for your immune system. It is very warming which helps open your sinuses and improves circulation which means your body can get toxins out faster. Ginger is also anti-inflammatory which can help your body focus on killing those bacteria! I love adding it to dishes all the time but especially when it seems like everyone AROUND me is SICK! If your feeling sick or need an immune boost I hope your try this

Healing Morning Drink (print here )

 Ingredients:

1/4 inch ginger root

1/4 inch turmeric root

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tbsp. full-fat coconut milk

1 cup water

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Might want to grate the ginger and turmeric if don’t have a high powered blender or you will get chunks
  2. Warm using stove or microwave

 

*this might be a lot of ginger for some. I like it spicy but feel free to add as much or as little as you like
