Unicorn Frappe!

Everyone’s crazy about the Unicorn Frappe!! Soooo I tried to make a pink smoothie with a blue layer but it turned out purple with another shade of purple😂 I used a natural “blue” dye for the light purple color and blackberries for the darker color😜 Oh well! It tastes GOOD so it don’t matter! And can we just talk about how much sugar is in a Unicorn Frappe…. 76 GRAMS! That’s 19 teaspoons!!!!! CRAZY😳Our homemade version has about 15 grams of sugar (only from FRUIT) and 6 grams of fiber!

Unicorn Smoothie

1 small banana, frozen

1 cup riced cauliflower, frozen

1/4 cup mango nectar

1/2 cup almond milk

A few blackberries

1 scoop collagen peptides

Natural “blue” food dye (optional)*

Directions:

  1. Place almond milk, cauliflower and banana into a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Take a scoop out and add the blue dye
  3. With the rest, add in the mango nectar and the blackberries and blend until all combined
  4. Place pink (dark purple) smoothie into a cup until half way. Add in the blue (light purple) layer and then fill the rest with what’s left of the pink part

*Totally can just make this one shade of purple because it still taste delicious and it is easier!
