Kafta

Kafta is a Lebanese meat ball kinda thing. Haha its traditionally made with lamb but we made ours with turkey because we had some turkey we needed to use😬 This is a great way to mix up your usually meat balls and you can eat this for any meal of the day!!🎉

Turkey Kafta 

Ingredients:

3 lbs. ground turkey

1 cup kale, chopped small

1 bunch green onions

½ cup parsley leaves, fresh, finely chopped

½ cup cilantro, fresh, finely chopped

2 tsp. cumin

1 tsp. allspice

1 tsp. salt

¾ tsp. cayenne

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients
  2. Shape the mixture into medium sized, football shaped balls
  3. Preheat and grease grill
  4. Place on grill and cook for 10 minutes then turn over and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until done

 

Could also do this in an oven but we haven’t tried it that way
